Following many complaints to the Parish Council, the District Council, the County Council and the Police, The Parish Council made a formal approach to Somerset County Council (as the Highways Authority) to see if they could suggest a solution with the main issue being cars parked along the A30 in a dangerous spot, but also to prevent cars from parking at busy junctions leading onto the A30 and blocking dropped kerbs.
Somerset County Council is now running a consultation on the proposed remedy. The Parish Council has already approved this approach.
